Welcome to My Scrapbook Retreat! We have just opened our doors and are very excited about the new adventure that lays ahead of us.

There are a few of us that make My Scrapbook Retreat one of Colorados premier scrapbook retreats!

~I am Jessica Falcon, your hostess at My Scrapbook Retreat. I have lived in Colorado Springs for 18 years. And I have been scrapbooking about 15 years. I LOVE to scrapbook! Our family loves to look through our albums! It is a great passion, and I love to know that I am preserving memories and events for my family and generations to come! In 2004, becoming a single mom of 2 young boys and working full time, time to scrapbook was a luxury I rarely had. But the few times I was able to scrapbook was a great stress reliever and gave me some time to relax. It was then that I knew that I wished to make a place for women, like myself, that needed a place to get away and have fun! I met my husband in 2006 online, while he was deployed. My husband quickly learned about my addiction to scrapbooking, as I would get really excited to tell him about a sale that was at a local scrapbooking store or email him pictures of the things that I just could not live with out! We got married Valentines Day of 2008. He has been very supportive of my hobbies and talents, and sent me to great scrapbook retreats during his deployments. In October 2009 upon learning that another scrapbook retreat was closing their doors, I wanted to jump on the opportunity to have my dream job and purchase it! I was surprised when my husband agreed and was actually excited about opening a craft retreat! We found our perfect property that would accommodate our family, and plenty of guests! January 2010, we welcomed our little girl, born January 1, 2010 and we opened our business doors! I am excited to share my love for scrapbooking and crafting with you!

~Gerald Falcon is the co-host at My Scrapbook Retreat. And the amazing husband of Jessica. He has been serving in the Army for 19.5 years. He is looking forward to retiring at the end of 2010 and being a stay at home dad. He is a great handyman, and loves to entertain and have people over. His passion is cooking! Having been around the world, he has been able to experience all kinds of foods and flavors, and has been able to incorperate that into his creations. He is our chef and will make you his unique, delicious, one-of-a-kind foods that you can only get at My Scrapbook Retreat!

~Rachel Egbert is also a co host at My Scrapbook Retreat and our creative business advisor. She is a wonderful asset to our team. Her husband is also military and he is on the faculty at the Air Force Academy. They have 6 children, 3 girls and 3 boys. She has been scrapbooking for 18 years and enjoys doing other crafts. Rachel was a Stampin Up demonstrator for 5 years and was very successful. After the birth of her 6th child who was diagnosed with down syndrome and several health issues, scrapbooking and her successful business had to take a back burner. She was very excited to hear about my new business venture, as she too needed a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and let her creativity flow freely. Now that little Preston is almost 3 and doing very well, Rachel is excited to get back into scrapbooking and crafting. She has a background in teaching elementary education and will be teaching some of our classes. She looks forward to helping you make your albums and weekend enjoyable!
